Introducing our International Collaboration for Collective Action
What happens when Rotary clubs from three countries come together with one shared purpose?
Something bigger than geography.
Bigger than borders.
Bigger than any one club alone.
This week marked the exciting launch of our International Collaboration for Collective Action bringing together the Rotary Clubs of Colombo City, Global Roots, Serenissima and Social Impact Network.
From Sri Lanka, Italy and Australia to explore how collective action can create meaningful change in our communities.
At the launch, Rotary South Pacific Council Chair Jenni Herring and District 9685 Governor Michelle Ellery congratulated the partnership, recognising the creativity, innovation and vision behind this bold new venture.
Why does this matter?
Because the challenges facing communities today do not stop at borders — and neither should our solutions.
By sharing ideas, skills, networks and lived experiences across continents, Rotary strengthens its ability to respond, innovate and create sustainable impact. This collaboration reflects the very heart of Rotary:
– International understanding
– Service above self
– Innovation through partnership
– Creating lasting change in communities
Together, these clubs will explore opportunities to support projects, exchange ideas, strengthen cultural connections and demonstrate what is possible when Rotarians unite with purpose.
The future of Rotary is collaborative, connected and courageous — and this initiative is a powerful example of that future in action.
If you believe in the power of partnership and collective impact, now is the time to get involved, start conversations and help shape what comes next.
